Miscellaneous

External Downloads

 OpenOffice

This external link takes you straight to the OO homepage. OpenOffice is a more than worthy alternative to Microsoft products, and it is for free. It is also the office suite that runs on school computers here in Extremadura. On top of that, it comes with a PDF filter -a must-have if you want to put your own documents on the web. While there are still some bugs -of course- OO3.2 is already top notch. One warning, though: Before you take an OO (Windows) file to be printed in school, save it in PDF format. Lots of Windows fonts are copyrighted, and your format will change in .odf files, though not in .pdf ones.
